The Wild is Speaking WWF Adria — Social Awareness Campaign (Concept)
Overview
The Wild is Speaking is a concept Instagram awareness campaign developed for WWF Adria. The campaign addresses habitat fragmentation and public perception of large carnivores in the Dinaric region.
Its goal is to shift the narrative — from fear and misconception toward understanding and coexistence.
The Challenge
Wolves, lynx and bears are often portrayed as threats, while their natural habitats continue to shrink due to infrastructure expansion and deforestation.
The challenge was to translate a complex environmental issue into a clear and emotionally resonant social media format, while maintaining WWF’s credibility and tone.
Creative Direction
The campaign is built around a restrained visual system that pairs powerful wildlife imagery with minimal, declarative typography.
Each carousel sequence follows a structured narrative — introducing the species, addressing common myths and expanding into the broader issue of ecological fragmentation.
The design emphasizes clarity and consistency, allowing the imagery to carry emotional weight while supporting the educational message.
